Dead & alive again, a boy is gifted with an eerie ability to manipulate people’s thoughts. As mischievous ten year-old boys, Charlie and Chad Pope are playing. An explosion kills Chad, but minutes later he comes back to life. From this moment on he has a special gift - the ability to manipulate people's thoughts and make them do his will.
Twenty years later Charlie is summoned to a mental institution where a psychiatrist who specializes in the study of twins, wants to know more about Chad. Charlie narrates their long history beginning the day that Chad died and came back. The psychiatrist concludes that Chad actually died that day as a child and that Charlie has created an alter ego to substitute for his twin's death. But is this what really happened, or is it all part of a clever plot to expose a psychiatrist with a dark past, for crimes he commited years before?
